Ostrich & Leather Trading’s unusual special assignment

It appears that the quality of Ostrich & Leather Trading’s products is of such a high quality that we received a special request for a product outside of our normal range viz. the reupholstering of a lounge suite cushions.

We don’t manufacture furniture as such, as can be seen from our catalog published on this website.  However, we do consider special requests that fall generally in the ambit of our products.  Although it would appear that we would only consider assignments of this nature in our Cape Town area, as this is the location of our factory, depending on the request, we could also oblige requests from further afield.

In the present instance a customer provided us with the cushions of an upholstered lounge suite.  We reupholstered the cushions with excellent quality genuine ox leather and we were able to return the finished items within our normal lead time of 6 weeks. 

Within reason any size of a product can be considered, as all leathers can be stitched to provide a larger area than the natural size of the hide in question. As usual all our leather products are available in a variety of exciting colours. Although In this case of reupholstering cushions, we would have been able to provide the inner cushion as well, had we been provided with the necessary dimensions.
